MechHire Terms

These terms define the rules for using MechHire as a candidate, employer, mentor, creator, learner, or administrator.

Who can use MechHire

Users must provide accurate account information and use their own account. Candidates, employers, mentors, creators, and admins must not share accounts, impersonate another person or company, or bypass role restrictions.

Candidate responsibilities

Candidates are responsible for keeping their profile, resume, experience, skills, contact details, applications, and learning activity accurate. Candidates should only upload documents they own or have the right to share.

Employer responsibilities

Employers must post real roles, represent their company truthfully, use candidate data only for legitimate hiring activity, respect candidate privacy, and avoid discriminatory, misleading, spammy, fraudulent, or unlawful job content.

Candidate database access

Employer access to candidate profiles, resumes, contact details, unlocks, shortlists, and downloads is controlled by platform rules, plan limits, candidate settings, and audit logs. Employers must not scrape, resell, or reuse candidate data outside legitimate hiring activity.

Mentor and course responsibilities

Mentors and course creators must upload original or properly licensed material, give accurate claims about experience, avoid unsafe advice, and accept that MechHire may review, approve, reject, suspend, or remove content before or after publication.

Bookings, sessions, and conduct

Mentor sessions, mock interviews, reviews, cancellations, reschedules, and meeting links must be used professionally. Users must not harass, spam, record unlawfully, share private data without permission, or use sessions for non-career solicitation.

Current no-fee access

MechHire does not currently collect payments. Approved courses, mentor-session requests, job posting, and employer tools are available without a platform fee, subject to fair-use, safety, moderation, privacy, and availability rules. Pricing and separate payment terms will be published before any paid feature is activated.

Platform rules and security

Users must not attempt unauthorized access, scrape private data, upload malware, bypass role or RLS restrictions, attack the platform, harass users, infringe intellectual property, or use MechHire for non-hiring spam.

Moderation and account actions

MechHire may review reports, audit logs, jobs, mentors, courses, videos, companies, and user activity. We may reject content, limit access, suspend accounts, block users, or preserve records where needed for safety, security, legal, or operational reasons.

Availability and changes

MechHire may change, pause, or remove features as the service evolves. We aim to keep the service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability during maintenance, upgrades, or incidents.

MechHire helps connect candidates, employers, mentors, courses, and preparation resources. We do not guarantee job offers, hiring decisions, mentor outcomes, salary results, interview results, or accuracy of user-generated content.
